SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Any format. Theme-aligned. BODY / MIND / SOUL / WORLD are open-ended containers.
Anyone can contribute when the work aligns with the issue theme or editorial universe.
How it works
The publication is submission-based. Covers and selected features are commissioned.
Contributors can also work with creative partners and collaborators when they need support realizing an idea.
Work that is not selected for one issue may be considered for another issue or online.
How to submit
- Sign in with your name and email. We send a one-time code to your inbox, no password needed. Your account is a CR8 account (CR8 is the R3V.WORLD platform this site runs on).
- Choose a container (BODY / MIND / SOUL / WORLD), a format and the language of the work.
- Add your work as text, links or files.
- Add your credit details: the name you want credited, pronouns, location, a short bio and links.
- Confirm you are 18+ and accept the submission agreement.
What we accept
- WORD: essays / interviews / poetry / fiction / satire
- IMAGE: photography / illustration / comics / archives / scans
- SOUND: voice notes / oral histories / music / playlists
- MOVING IMAGE: short film / video essays / animation / performance
- OBJECT: posters / foldouts / inserts / postcards / stickers / detachable matter
- HYBRID: photo + poem / interview + comic / archive + annotation / essay + voice note / film stills + QR video / handwriting + photography
18+
R! is 18+ so explicit work can be included when relevant. Not every issue will contain explicit content.
You must be 18 or older to submit.
Ownership + rights
Creators retain ownership. R! receives only the rights agreed in writing for publication, promotion and archive.

Editing
Major edits are developed collaboratively with contributors rather than imposed without their knowledge.
Pay
We are committed to a fair and transparent creative environment. Open submission opportunities may be unpaid. Compensation and payment terms are stated before participation. Commissioned work is agreed in advance.

Generative AI
R! is a response to a creative culture that can feel rushed, mass-produced, hyper-curated and pressured toward perfection. We want room for imperfect, unexplored and authentic work made by people.
No generative AI content or visuals in submitted creative or editorial work.
Language + translation
English primarily + multilingual work.
Translation is optional. Contributors may provide translations themselves, collaborate with translators, or choose translation tools — including AI-assisted translation — at their own discretion.
Files + deadlines
- Up to 10 files per submission, 500 MB each.
- Larger work can be shared as a link (for example a video, audio or cloud folder link).
